To cap a week long celebration of Broncos owner Pat Bowlen, coach Gary Kubiak reciprocated a gesture that will forever remain etched in Broncos lore. After Sunday 29 10 victory over the Packers, Kubiak awarded the game ball to Bowlen wife Annabel on her husband behalf, much like Pat handed of the Lombardi Trophy to John Elway following the 1997 Super Bowl victory.

Dozens of former players were on hand to celebrate Bowlen, who was inducted as the 28th member of the Broncos Ring of Fame during halftime of the game.

As Annabel Bowlen and her children were about to start their Walk to End Alzheimer event at City Park this morning, they chanted as one: one for Pat.

Team Super Bowlen raised nearly $70,000 for the Alzheimer Association today. Every Broncos player donated, as well as football operations boss John Elway, coach John Fox and several other team staffers. Broncos owner Pat Bowlen and his family revealed in July that he is dealing with Alzheimer disease.

In the walk, Bowlen wife Annabel cut the ribbon before joining her family in the walk. Team chief executive officer Joe Ellis was also among the 8,000 plus participants.
